Nina Galea is a dancer, teacher and choreographer with roots in classical and modern dance. Born in Montreal, she performed, taught and toured in Europe with ‘La Troupe de Danse Pointépiénu.’ She also danced with ‘Howard Richard Danse’ and in many multi-media events at prominent art galleries as a solo artist. Nina was artist-in-residence at Earthdance – improvisation mecca located in the forests of Massachussets - and studied with Nancy Stark-Smith, Andrew Harwood, Susan Schell, Martin Keogh and Frey Faust.

She choreographs, teaches modern dance and improvisation at Collège Ste-Anne de Lachine. Nina performs and teaches workshops in improvisation and Authentic Movement in and out of Montreal. Also a singer-songwriter, Nina is completing her first CD. For more information see Nina more info.
