In the process of making dances Nina likes to work with both structure and improvisation. She is interested in formal techniques and pedestrian movement, and the journey that takes place when these two forms of movement come together. Nina integrates the human qualities of her dancers, thereby inviting a personal quality to her dances, as well as a strong sense of participation to them. Her sources of inspiration are rooted in all dimensions of life: nature, the sacred, human beings, and her personal life experiences.
